Hey peeps,
Obviously, I haven’t updated in a while. For a bit there, most of my efforts and time were being expended on strips over at Negative Zen, where I did a couple of installments that were full-color and required a fair bit of time to complete. Then, Dragon Age happened for a weekend, which was good but also prevented any sort of real creative output.
I briefly considered doing that National Novel Writing Month “contest” (as loosely defined as I’ve ever seen a term), but got distracted after I found their website to be down for maintenance in the middle of the afternoon/evening. One has to wonder about the wisdom of doing any work on the website that wasn’t absolutely an emergency in the middle of the highest traffic month that site probably ever has.
But, now it is the 17th, and I’m fairly certain that I have no real chance of making the “deadline” at the end of the month. Alas.
It’s just as well, I suppose. I managed to get a slight cold and am not much in the mood to be pumping out a few thousand words a day off the top of my head for the rest of the month. Nonetheless, something must be created by the end of the month, and, so, standby for that.
